Wirecard, the global innovation leader for digital financial technology, and EasyTransfer are collaborating to enable seamless mobile payments for digital-native Chinese students. Together the two companies are launching a new mobile payment and loyalty app designed for Chinese students studying outside of China. Approximately $3.8 billion in tuition payments were transferred via EasyTransfer in the first year alone.

One in five Brits are failing to keep track of their personal finances, with 40% of millennials admitting they have no clue how much they spend compared to what they earn each month. The news comes as Bank of England data from December 2019 showed households have £45billion more debt on credit cards, personal loans and overdrafts compared to the start of 2010 – a 25 percent growth in 10 years.

That marks a doubling of Plaid’s value in a year. The eight-year-old San Francisco company last raised funding a year ago at a $2.65 billion valuation.
