PAYSTRAX, a leading provider of card transaction acquiring and payment solutions for merchants, today announced the official opening of its new London office.

Located in London Bridge, the new office replaces PAYSTRAX's Brighton office, which first opened in 2022, and builds on the company’s established UK presence alongside its existing recently acquired Nochex Leeds office. Having received its FCA licence in 2023, the move marks another important milestone in the company’s continued UK and international expansion.

The launch strengthens PAYSTRAX’s commitment to the UK market and ensures the company can better support its growing network of partners and merchants.

“This isn’t just a new office: it’s a signal of our intent,” said Johannes Kolbeinsson, CEO and co-founder of PAYSTRAX. “The UK fintech and payments market is a hugely important and strategic focus for us, and we’re delighted to officially enter the capital and showcase our services to even more merchants.”

Instead of simply replicating the same operations across multiple countries, PAYSTRAX focuses on developing the most effective solutions from a central hub to improve processing efficiency for merchants internationally.

The London base will provide merchants and partners with enhanced access to PAYSTRAX acquiring services, data-driven payment insights, and tailored solutions designed to improve performance and scalability across sectors.

“Our goal is straightforward: to work with a broad network of UK partners and merchants, offering reliable, high-quality acquiring services and using data insights to create additional value for our customers,” said Kolbeinsson. “Our new London office is another landmark step towards our long-term strategy to continue expanding across Europe.”
