Baker Hill, a leading provider of technology solutions for common loan origination, relationship management and smart data analytics, announced the upcoming launch of AppGen™, which allows consumers and small businesses to apply for credit cards and loans from any location leveraging a responsive design. The new product will be launched officially at the Baker Hill Client Meeting in Indianapolis on August 15, 2016.

AppGen allows financial institutions to launch or strengthen online and mobile lending channels to grow application volume. Loan applicants access a financial institution’s website or digital loan offering using a laptop, tablet or responsive device to experience a convenient, self-service loan application process. AppGen requires very minimal information, enabling users to complete applications quickly and without ever visiting or calling the branch. At the same time, a simplified, intuitive application process promotes consistency and faster decisioning, which is critical for banks and credit unions to remain competitive in lending today.

“The online and mobile delivery channels have become significant for financial institutions’ loan products, as applicants increasingly demand the ease and expedience that comes with being able to initiate and complete an application from the comfort of their home and device,” said Naseer Nasim, CEO of Baker Hill. “As financial institutions look for ways to respond to the emergence of alternative loan products designed to accommodate consumers and small businesses, AppGen delivers the attractive responsive functionality and design they need to reach new loan applicants and expand market share.”

AppGen complements Baker Hill’s Bank2Consumer, Bank2Business, and Bank2Dealer common loan origination solutions, which automate and streamline the loan lifecycle once applications are received via AppGen. Banks and credit unions tailor AppGen according to their established policies and risk parameters for accepting applications. The tool is also customized based on each institution’s design preferences to deliver a distinct, enjoyable mobile experience. Collecting applications through AppGen inherently reduces data entry errors, and leveraging digital and online channels diminishes an institution’s dependency on IT and other back office resources.
