Finom, the European financial services platform for entrepreneurs, introduces the integrated F24 functionality for its Italian customers, streamlining tax and social contributions with direct payment of F24 forms, both Ordinario and Accise.

This integration is done through a strategic partnership with Fabrick. Their BaaS, which is connected via API to Banca Sella’s solutions, allows F24 forms to be filled out and sent within Finom's platform, eliminating the need to juggle multiple systems for taxes and contributions. The feature enables various payments, including income taxes, VAT, social security contributions, and local taxes.

Alberto Mussinatto, Chief Product and Strategy Officer at Fabrick, adds, “Fabrick's F24 API solution streamlines Italian fiscal compliance, offering businesses a seamless integration pathway to automate tax payments while ensuring regulatory adherence. Fabrick's solution harnesses REST architecture and secure endpoint technology to streamline data exchange and real-time validation protocols. This enterprise-grade integration eliminates manual processing errors while providing comprehensive audit trails. The technology's microservices-based design ensures scalability across high transaction volumes, allowing businesses to automate tax workflows through a single connection point.”

Currently, Italian entrepreneurship is burdened by bureaucracy: according to Confartigiato, a small business spends an average of 238 hours per year untangling tax deadlines and compliance, or 56 hours more than the average for OECD countries. This highlights a significant market need for digital tools that save time and facilitate tax compliance.

Finom is introducing the following key features:

  • Integration with Italian tax authorities

  • Secure payment processing

  • Digital archive of submitted forms

The F24 integration is the first in the series of updates for Italian customers, to be followed soon by PagoPA, MAV, and RAV functionalities, further simplifying the payment of taxes, fees, public services payments, overhead bills, and insurance.

“F24 forms are a fundamental part of life for all Italian taxpayers, not just entrepreneurs and SMEs. At Finom, we recognize that integrating and automating these forms will provide a competitive advantage in a business environment burdened by administrative complexity. This practical solution helps restore productivity to businesses currently slowed down by paperwork,” adds Alessandro La Mantia, Account Manager at Finom.

This step aligns with Finom’s strategy towards streamlining financial management and automating workflows for freelancers and small businesses, evidenced by their recent launch of AI Accounting in Germany, with plans to expand across the EU throughout 2025.

Finom recently secured a €92.3 million growth investment from General Catalyst's Customer Value Fund (CVF) to accelerate European expansion, focusing on addressing the specific needs of entrepreneurs and businesses in different EU countries. Beyond electronic invoicing services, the company has provided Italian customers with local IBAN accounts since 2024.
