Safe Systems, a national provider of fully-compliant IT and security services for community banks and credit unions, today announced availability of its new NetComply One IT managed service offering. NetComply One enables community financial institutions to operate efficient, secure and compliant IT networks. Safe Systems has rebuilt the entire IT network management service drawing on experience from managing IT networks for more than 300 financial institutions over the past eight years.

NetComply One removes the burden of maintaining IT networks for community banks by further enabling Safe Systems to manage and monitor a client’s network hardware and software holistically through its system. This eliminates the need for clients to oversee patch management, anti-virus, and reporting, which is challenging and time consuming for banks to handle internally. NetComply One uses automated and assigned patch management services to address all network issues. In addition, it reduces the frequency and impact of malware events since security is greatly improved, while also providing banks the information and guidance required to adequately meet auditors’ high standards.

“We have always brought outstanding IT network monitoring, alerting and reporting to our community financial institution clients. Our research revealed that our clients who also used Safe Systems for patch management services consistently out-scored other institutions on audits for efficiency, security and compliance,” said Darren Bridges, president of Safe Systems. “The integration of our patch management best practices into NetComply One offers bankers a superior way to run their IT networks, enhance IT security and reduce risks and time spent with auditors.”

NetComply One also provides enhanced qualified alerting capabilities. This reduces the number of false alerts clients will need to review and manage, making for a more streamlined and efficient level of service. Through this qualified alerting function the alerts a client receives will have already been reviewed by Safe Systems engineers, eliminating noise or false positives and providing less distraction for the bank’s IT personnel. Safe Systems will continue to constantly monitor and alert on things such as virus detection, hardware failures, back-up failures and software updates across servers, networks, routers, switches and mobile devices.

NetComply One also offers financial institutions with a solution that provides:

  • A centralized monitoring console with remote control access and monitoring capabilities
  • Dual factor authentication to log into the console
  • More comprehensive monitoring and alerting functions
  • Quarterly control self-assessment reviews
  • Enhanced IT reporting functions, including compliance reports based on FFIEC requirements for IT audits
  • Security baseline services to ensure a bank’s network is protected
  • Online education material and live webinars on compliance and technology

In addition to delivering an enhanced set of IT network management services, Safe Systems has redesigned its underlying IT monitoring and reporting platform to support Microsoft Windows 10. This technology enhancement is designed to make it easier to implement future platform integrations.
