Rabo eBusiness, the world’s first bank-led Digital Identity Service Provider, has been recognised by bobsguide as the winner of its Best Retail Banking System Integration Award. The partnership between Rabobank, a financial institution, and Signicat, a leader in verified digital identity solutions, has now been recognised by a series of award wins and shortlistings since its launch.

The bobsguide awards celebrate successful collaborations between fintech/financial market partnerships. Rabo eBusiness is the world’s first digital identity service provider. It provides banks, financial service providers, and any other business that need to identify its customers a one-stop service for digital identity. The joint venture brings together Rabobank’s experience with large, multi-national enterprises, and Signicat’s digital identity technology.

The award follows the partnership’s success in a number of respected awards from both industry publications and analyst houses. In the last year, Rabo eBusiness has also won the Celent Model Bank Award for Best Identity Management, and the Aite Impact Innovation Awards for Digital Channel Capabilities. It has also been shortlisted for both the Banking Technology and FStech awards in partnership categories.

“We’re delighted not only to win this award, but also for the continued recognition of just how innovative Rabo eBusiness is,” said Gunnar Nordseth, CEO at Signicat. “The financial services industry is clearly in need of ways to build mutual trust and ensure that the provider is legitimate, and the customer is genuine—and this partnership provides exactly that.”

“We’re proud to be recognised once again for this partnership,” said Nico Strauss, Chapter Lead, Shopping and eBusiness, Rabobank. “Rabo eBusiness is unique not only in the service that it provides but also in being a partnership between a bank and fintech, and we’re very happy to see this acknowledged.”
