Fime has upgraded its Digital Identity Application and Reader Test Suites to support the global deployment of EUDI Wallets and ISO-compliant mobile Driver’s Licenses (mDLs). These enhanced test suites simplify the process for organizations to ensure their digital identity solutions meet the latest international standards, enabling seamless in-person and online identity verification.

With the European Commission mandating that all EU citizens, residents, and businesses have access to a Digital Identity Wallet by 2026, the need for scalable and reliable testing solutions is critical. Fime’s updated test suites help member states, wallet developers, and identity issuers meet this demand, ensuring interoperability and compliance with the latest ISO/IEC 18013-5 and 18013-7 standards, enabling businesses to stay ahead of regulatory requirements.

“Momentum behind digital identity initiatives is greater than ever,” comments Steve Pannifer, SVP Digital Identity at Fime. “Advancements in technology, the availability of affordable smartphones, and increasing concerns regarding security and data protection are all key drivers. We have combined our expertise in each of these fields, with our unrivalled track record in payments, to support the creation of an accessible, inclusive and trusted digital identity ecosystem for all.”

Fime’s Digital Identity test suites now accelerate the global roll-outs of EUDI Wallet and ISO-compliant mDLs, helping stakeholders design, deploy and test secure digital identity solutions. Discover how Fime’s test suites ensure seamless and secure deployment of digital identity everywhere.
