Viewpointe®, a leading managed service and payments provider to regulated industries, has announced that three executives will be featured speakers during the 59th Annual ARMA International Conference, to be held October 26-28, 2014, in San Diego, California, at the San Diego Convention Center.

William Shute, Viewpointe executive vice president, corporate strategy and marketing, will present, “10 Things You Need to Survive the Big Data Apocalypse,” where he will discuss how to increase information management, apply information governance and survive the growing data onslaught. Shute will also deliver “Not All Clouds are Created Equal (... especially in financial services),” where he will lead an interactive discussion on what regulated industries should be looking for from their cloud service providers. As part of this session, Shute will highlight that finding “the right cloud” presents significant opportunities for financial services organizations.

Additionally, Tera Ladner, JD, CRM, IGP, group VP, enterprise records and information management, SunTrust Banks, will join Viewpointe’s Kristi Perdue Hinkle, ERMM, director, corporate and product marketing, to present a case study as to how SunTrust has embraced information governance in the cloud. This session will highlight how Viewpointe and SunTrust worked together to employ a cloud-based information governance platform, based on the OnPointe® platform, to drive value within SunTrust Bank.

Lastly, ARMA attendees will have the opportunity to hear Hinkle and Susan Emery, Viewpointe director of product management, speak on a recently published Cloud Economics research from IDC, sponsored by Viewpointe, as well as a Total Cost of Ownership tool designed from that study that helps to identify the savings associated with cloud-based information management. In the session “Building a Better Business Case for Information Governance,” attendees will hear how private cloud can help them save over 36 percent in TCO over an on-premises deployment. Participants will also gain insight into how they can start to up-level their business case for success.

ARMA International’s annual conference is the premier event for information management and governance professionals.

Reporters interested in speaking with Viewpointe on these sessions, or on the topics of information management, information governance and the cloud generally, can contact viewpointe@cognitomedia.com. Viewpointe will be exhibiting at the event and can be found at booth #1239 at the EXPO.
