Treezor, leader in Banking as a Service, becomes one of the first BaaS to obtain PCI DSS certification on the card issuing part. This certification demonstrates Treezor's operational and technical capacity to comply with the most demanding security standards and paves the way for the development of new card-related functionalities for its customers.

Created by the PCI Council, which brings together the various card networks (Mastercard, VISA, American Express, etc.), obtaining PCI DSS ( Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard ) certification underlines Treezor's ability to store, process and transmit payment card data. This reference standard attests to the quality and security of Treezor's information system to offer its customers card data protection of the highest standards.

With the aim of strengthening data security across the entire payment ecosystem and further meeting compliance requirements, the PCI DSS standard guarantees Treezor customers that Treezor card data is processed with the utmost rigor and security. The leader in Banking as a Service (BaaS) thus confirms its ability to work with large groups and regulated institutions by meeting their expectations regarding data processing.

Compliance with the PCI DSS security standard is based on three elements:

  • Manage the transfer of customer bank card data, involving the collection and secure transmission of sensitive card information;
  • Store card data securely, in accordance with the 12 security domains of the PCI DSS standard. This includes practices such as encryption, continuous monitoring and security testing;
  • Perform advanced security checks annually.
