The Hamburg-based FinTech TrustBills had a very successful year and is now setting the course for the future. This also includes a greater professionalization of existing structures, among other things by creating and filling new strategic positions. The first new addition this year is Hoi Fung (38), who as Head of Sales will be responsible for the sale of all existing and future products. Mr. Fung will join TrustBills in March this year.

“We are growing continuously and have been able to win a large number of new and above all bigger accounts, especially in the recent year. This makes further development of the sales department essential. We are therefore very pleased to welcome Hoi Fung to our team, who is a proven financing and transaction expert. I am convinced that, as Head of Sales, he will once again set completely new impulses to the sales department with corresponding positive effects for the entire company,“ said Joerg Hoerster, founder and CEO of TrustBills, pleased with the new hire.

And Hoi Fung adds: “With its marketplace for unpaid B2B invoices, TrustBills disrupted the factoring market as well as supply chain finance and therefore helped many companies to improve their liquidity management – especially in the difficult year 2020. I am very much looking forward to my future tasks – also with regard to the prospects that will open up with and for TrustBills in the foreseeable future.“

Before joining TrustBills, Hoi Fung was a senior structurer at Trascon GmbH, where he was responsible for structuring and servicing securitization transactions for reputable companies. Previously, Mr. Fung acted in several roles in HSH Nordbank (today Hamburg Commercial Bank) for over eight years. As a senior banker he was responsible for performing and non-performing asset finance portfolios in the aviation and shipping sectors, for the syndication business as well as for risk management in the aforementioned areas. Mr. Fung holds a diploma degree (master equivalent) in quantitative economics from the Kiel University and is a CFA Charterholder.
