TradeSun Makes Senior Hires as Trade Digitalization Ramps Up

TradeSun has made senior appointments across the US, APAC region and Europe as the company, a leader in AI-driven trade automation and compliance, continues its global expansion.

Kevin Asbell joins as Chief Commercial Officer and General Counsel. Based out of TradeSun’s California headquarters, Kevin will leverage his expertise in commercial strategy to grow key partnerships. Kevin has considerable experience on the client side of trade transactions, bringing valuable insight of domestic and international trade to the company. 

Lloyd Parata has been appointed Senior Sales Director for Asia Pacific, based in Australia. Lloyd has more than 25 years working in the financial services and technology industry, having been at IBM, in a role focused on trade technology, for more than seven years. Lloyd has also worked in trade on compliance solutions with international and regional banks. He will lead TradeSun in Australia and the wider APAC region.

Meanwhile Ian Laverty has taken on the role of Chief Revenue Officer. Ian brings a holistic knowledge of the industry to TradeSun, having worked in trade at a leading UK bank for over a decade. He has supported exporting SMEs through governmental economic development agencies, as well as working in fintech suppliers to global banking teams.

Amy Chestnutt has joined TradeSun following its recent acquisition of Coriolis and its automated sustainability assessment platform. Amy has taken up the new position of Head of ESG Product and Regional Sales Director, Europe. Amy brings experience of supporting bank trade teams in assessing sustainability impact across transactions.
