Banner Bank Appoints Kayleen Kohler as Executive Vice President of Human Resources

The Banner Bank executive leadership team is pleased to announce Kayleen Kohler has joined the bank as Executive Vice President of Human Resources, and a member the Executive Management Committee. Kohler plays a key role in driving the company’s organizational design priorities, including leadership development, talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee relations, compensation, benefits, diversity initiatives, payroll and safety.

Prior to joining Banner, Kohler served in progressive human resource leadership roles for Plum Creek Timber Company, now Weyerhaeuser. She is a business leader who builds strong partnerships to shape organizational strategy, while implementing best-in-class human resource solutions. With more than 20 years of leadership experience, Kohler is passionate about people and has focused her education and experience in the field of Human Resources.

She holds bachelors’ degrees in Marketing as well as Business Management from Northwest Missouri State University, and a master’s in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. Through continuing education she maintains her SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications.

Kohler has a long-history of being active in the community. Prior to relocating from Montana, she served on numerous non-profit boards including the local chapter of the Society of Human Resources, the United Way, as well as the local community college foundation, local symphony and chorale. Additionally, she has served as an adjunct professor at Flathead Valley Community College.
