Wells Fargo announced today a sponsorship with the Los Angeles Rams in support of their inaugural season back home in Southern California. Reflecting Wells Fargo’s ongoing commitment to community support and caring for Greater Los Angeles, the primary focus will be to sponsor the “Community Player of the Week” program in which a Rams player and a Wells Fargo team member will be recognized for their excellence in community service.

“At Wells Fargo we believe our long-term success is directly linked to the success of the communities we serve. That is why we are recognizing dedicated players and team members who are engaging in important work in our local schools and nonprofit organizations to help those who need it most,” said David DiCristofaro, Wells Fargo region president for Greater Los Angeles. “I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the Rams' return than to honor the players who are making Los Angeles a better place to call home.”

To celebrate the team’s return to Los Angeles, Wells Fargo also is offering three new Los Angeles Rams debit and prepaid card designs. Customers can visit Wells Fargo’s Card Design Studio® Service on wellsfargo.com and select a Rams-themed design as a way of sharing team spirit for no additional fee.

As the top corporate philanthropist in Los Angeles, Wells Fargo offers every team member the opportunity to volunteer and contribute to nonprofits with 16 paid community service hours annually. In 2015, the company donated more than $22 million to regional nonprofits and team members volunteered 41,800 hours at organizations in Los Angeles and surrounding areas.

“We are pleased to add Wells Fargo to our roster of partners kicking off our historic return to Los Angeles,” said Mike O’Keefe, Los Angeles Rams vice president of corporate partnerships. “Wells Fargo gives a lot back to this community, and we look forward to collaborating to share the powerful stories of how Wells Fargo team members and the Rams are making a difference.”
