Nucleus365 – the unified platform for payment processing and reconciliation – has today announced its partnership with the world’s leading B2B payments infrastructure-as-a-service provider, TransferMate. The strategic partnership will allow Nucleus365 customers to expand their cross-border payments offering and enhance their overall global payments experience.

Commenting on the partnership, Daniel Mayhew, CEO at Nucleus365, said: “At Nucleus365, we’re continuing to build momentum by offering an expanding, fully integrated platform designed to champion cross-border payments, and this partnership is the next step.”

“We are operating in a fiercely competitive world and clients who wish to examine their options in the payments space will discover they have many alternatives and permutations to call upon. The changing dynamic in the market means that we have to be more open to fresh thinking than ever before. This ethos can be captured by four principles, which are called the “four Cs” – Compete, Collaborate, Cohabit and Coinvent.”

According to Statista FinTech Survey Aug, 2023, there are now over 26,000 fintech’s that will represent a mass body of disruption to the payments industry over the next five years. In the cross-border payments space, the emphasis on high-end technology, network access and real-time payments capabilities has been shifting for some time. This crowded arena might appear challenging to interpret and navigate, but it also spells one very big opportunity for the payments industry.

“Each segment: fintech’s, banks and MSBs, have highly interoperable and productive skills in delivering the solutions that are, cheaper, faster, better and with a degree of flexibility that has not been achievable in the past. Partnering with TransferMate not only allows for more real-time cross-border payments, but also enhances the global payments experience for merchants more broadly. The introduction of this latest capability enables us to continue to address the common misalignment between banking, payment processing, foreign exchange and technology stacks.”

Commenting on the partnership, Sinead Fitzmaurice, CEO at TransferMate, said:

“TransferMate has built the world’s most comprehensive and advanced global payments network, underpinned by world-class compliance and security. Our aim is to bring down barriers to international trade, reduce costs and increase efficiencies for businesses around the world and we are delighted to partner with Nucleus365 to deliver a better cross-border payments experience for their customers.”

This strategic partnership between TransferMate and Nucleus365 allows businesses and individuals to make cross-border payments as easily and cost-effectively as if making a domestic funds transfer, and with complete transparency of the transaction through to the point of final reconciliation.
