Cashflows, the platform that makes it easy for businesses to accept payments, has partnered with Mswipe, one of India’s largest fintechs providing payment technology to small businesses, banks and enterprises. Through this partnership, Cashflows will enable Mswipe to enter the UK market via a unique and revolutionary acquiring BIN sponsorship model.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the UK payments landscape, offering an efficient, and convenient pathway for international fintechs to enter the UK market, while crucially allowing Mswipe to avoid the administrative burdens and compliance requirements of direct scheme membership.

Mswipe, headquartered in Mumbai with operations in Singapore and the UAE, will leverage Cashflows' UK acquiring licence to provide comprehensive merchant acquiring services. This pioneering partnership allows Mswipe to operate as an acquirer in the UK, managing merchant onboarding, pricing, settlement terms, and processing, all while utilising their existing proprietary technology.

"This partnership is a game-changer," said Cashflows CEO Hannah Fitzsimons. "We’re breaking new ground by offering Mswipe the ability to function as an acquirer in the UK without the substantial time, cost and regulatory hurdles typically associated with market entry. This model is unprecedented and demonstrates our commitment to enabling seamless market access for innovative fintech companies."

The acquiring BIN sponsorship model allows Mswipe to focus on merchant acquisition and management, with Cashflows providing the comprehensive infrastructure for regulatory compliance and efficient financial flow. This structure provides Mswipe with significant control and flexibility, enabling them to tailor their services to the UK market.

Manish Patel, Founder and Managing Director of Mswipe, said: "Cashflows’ extraordinary work allows us to bring our established expertise and technology to a new market, mirroring our success in India and our international operations. Through this strategic partnership, we are committed to leveraging our robust technology platform to create a seamless payment ecosystem that empower businesses in the UK.”

Mswipe, with a network of 800,000 merchants in India, plans to replicate this success to the UK market, initially focusing on serving merchants across the retail sector before expanding into other industries. The company intends to leverage its extensive experience and technology to provide efficient and cost-effective payment solutions.

"This partnership is a testament to our innovative approach to enabling acquirers," Fitzsimons added. "We're excited to enable Mswipe's UK expansion and look forward to seeing them thrive in this market. This collaboration underscores our commitment to fostering growth and innovation in the payments industry."
