Tac has selected Nordigen as their open banking choice to establish an easier process for receipt handoff between businesses and accountants.

Tac is a German fintech aimed at small businesses in the food service, catering, retail and cultural sectors. The nature of these enterprises make them susceptible to enormous amounts of receipts that appear in various formats. This includes both incoming and outgoing invoices, receipts in paper, email and document forms, and cash receipts from suppliers and wholesalers. The processing and organisation of all these documents takes great effort and is time consuming on the business side, as well as the accountant.

Tac’s goal is to take the burden off of small businesses and bookkeepers by offering them a solution to upload and digitise all their receipts to a Tac Workspace. Receipts are automatically organised and matched with inflows and outflows in the bank account, resulting in a significantly faster accounting process.

“We wanted to create a service that improved accounting procedures for businesses and professionals in the gastronomy sector, through lightning-quick automation and collaboration in the cloud. We have chosen to partner with Nordigen to further enhance the process by allowing our users to link their bank accounts enabling a new, streamlining process for transaction to invoice matching,'' says Sönke Petersen, Founder of Tac.

Nordigen is able to connect to bank accounts directly using secure open banking APIs.

“We are always delighted to see new innovations and ways for people to improve on existing processes through the use of open banking. The team behind Tac has created something unique and it will surely alleviate some of the bookkeeping stress that professionals in the gastronomy field are faced with,” states Rolands Mesters, co-founder and CEO of Nordigen.
