Yaspa, a British fintech company specialising in instant bank payments through open banking, has announced a new partnership with global payment solutions provider, ASK Global. This collaboration will see Yaspa integrated into ASK Global's PINTO machines, which are widely used in some of the UK's largest and most popular land-based casinos and betting shops.

Introducing Yaspa's integration with ASK Global’s PINTO machines

ASK Global is a leader in payment solutions and kiosks for the retail and gaming industries worldwide. Their comprehensive product range includes cash and cashless retail kiosks, payment solutions, management systems, and gaming equipment designed to meet the diverse needs of various venues. The PINTO (Payment In Ticket Out) is a self-service kiosk that facilitates cashless payments and ticketing, offering enhanced customer convenience and operational efficiency.

Currently, PINTO machines accept only debit and credit card payments. With Yaspa's integration, customers will now have the added option of making secure, instant payments directly from their bank accounts via open banking. This marks a significant step forward in the evolution of payment options available in UK land-based casinos, betting shops, and other venues.

James Neville, CEO, Yaspa, stated:

"We are thrilled to partner with ASK Global to bring our open banking payment solution to their PINTO machines. This collaboration allows us to provide a seamless, instant, and secure payment experience, enhancing convenience and offering customers greater flexibility. We believe this introduction of open banking payments into land-based sites is a game-changer for the industry and look forward to the positive impact it will have on both merchants and users."

Fivos Polymniou, Director, ASK Global, commented:

“Our partnership with Yaspa reflects our commitment to provide cutting-edge payment solutions that enhances both operational efficiency and customer experience. By integrating open banking into our PINTO kiosks, we are further cementing the freedom of our customers to choose the payment solution that works for them”.

The initial rollout will focus on the UK market, with plans to expand into Europe shortly after. The integration is expected to go live by the end of October 2024.
