In a UK-bank first, Lloyds has launched ‘Lloyds Travel Booking’, powered by travel technology platform Hopper, available in the mobile app.

The new service means customers will be able to book flights and accommodation worldwide, using Hopper's AI-driven platform, which offers a range of features for holidaymakers.

These include:

• Best Price Guarantee: If a customer finds a better price within 24 hours of booking, Lloyds Travel will match the price.
• Price Prediction: For flights only, the service provides data-driven recommendations on the optimal time to book - or wait.
• Price Drop Protection: The service monitors flight bookings for 10 days and will credit customers if the price drops after booking.

Once booked, customers can keep track of their trips directly in the Lloyds app.

This comes as Istanbul in Türkiye is named as the number one destination searched for by people travelling from UK airports, looking to book a holiday this summer, according to research by Hopper.*
