Mortgage Lender Specialist Aldermore to Adopt the DPR Distribution Hub

DPR, the provider of savings and lending origination and servicing solutions, has announced Aldermore as the latest partner to adopt the DPR Distribution Hub. The hub securely transfers product and customer data through APIs to enable third-party intermediary distribution providers such as product sourcing and CRM systems, to integrate seamlessly into Aldermore’s mortgage application process.

The cloud-native hub can connect any distribution platform, to any mortgage lender. Both lenders and intermediaries will benefit from faster application submissions and increased adviser efficiency due to the hubs ability to produce accurate European Standardised Information Sheet (ESIS), automatically create cases, and generates a Decision In Principle directly within the adviser’s system. This will eliminate the re-keying of customer data between adviser and lender systems. The hub also provides state-of-the-art, adviser authentication technology, meaning the lender retains complete control of which advisers have access to customer data.

Aldermore, an existing client of DPR’s Mortgages Solution, specialises in finance to support UK small and medium-sized enterprises, and supports investors and homebuyers with mortgage finance. To support Aldermore’s digitalisation journey, the Hub was designed and developed in collaboration with DPR to deliver a single integration and access to multiple distribution providers. The specialist lender will be adopting the product transfer, ESIS and decision in principle functionality that will connect with distribution providers, Twenty7Tec and Iress.

Rowan Clayton, Head of Product, DPR, said: “Intermediaries play such a vital role for the mortgage industry especially for specialist lenders like Aldermore who finance complex cases. With competition in the market at an all-time high, lenders need to provide advisers confidence in their certainty to lend especially, where cases can become more complex and require a more human approach to underwriting but need a fully automated journey.

“Working in partnership with Aldermore, we have developed a market-leading API Hub that will give all lenders access to a range of established distributors in CRM and sourcing systems, without the need to develop multiple integrations, saving time and cost. We’re continuing to grow the number of partners within our ecosystem so that we continue to offer more choice for our clients and welcome conversations for new integration opportunities.”

Jon Cooper, Head of Mortgage Distribution, Aldermore, added: “DPR have been an important partner for Aldermore in advancing our technology ever since we launched our mortgage proposition back in 2010, and they will play a key role in our digitalisation journey going forward, as we work towards a streamlined end-to-end broker experience.

“The brand-new hub promises to make us even more connected with our brokers, offering a more efficient, accurate process and allowing for faster turnaround times for cases.”
