IBM Chairman & CEO Ginni Rometty Headlines Big Issue Debate at Sibos

Sibos announces today that Ginni Rometty, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of IBM, will address Sibos delegates in a Big Issue Debate about the impact of cognitive computing for the financial services industry. Following the keynote, Sergio P. Ermotti, Group Chief Executive Officer of UBS, will join Ginni and share insights around the future of the financial landscape. The session will be moderated byDean Garfield, President and CEO of the Information Technology Industry Council

This Big Issue Debate, ‘Cognitive Business and the Future of Financial Services’, will open with a keynote from Mrs. Rometty exploring the latest trends in digital intelligence, including a new class of cognitive systems that understand, reason and learn, in combination with intelligent automation and blockchain networks. As this new technology promises to transform operations, compliance, security and engagement across every industry, including financial services, Mr. Ermotti will join the discussion to further explore the impact on the future of financial services.
