Zurich - SIX Financial Information launched SIX iD, the evolution of its Telekurs iD product. More than a new name, the product features an intuitive user experience with numerous new features, which simplify information processing for investment decisions. SIX iD is now available worldwide.

Companies and financial services providers face numerous challenges. They have to take business relevant decisions – involving large investment sums in some cases – at increasingly short intervals. The momentum of market developments is on the rise and being able to make swift decisions often creates a competitive advantage. For example, when a company is about to present an initial public offering: is it worth investing in these stocks? How is the relevant industry and the competition performing? The SIX iD display product for financial data offers an intuitive user interface in order to facilitate faster and better informed decision making. Companies benefit from a powerful display that instantly gives users an overview of the current market situation.

Among other options, SIX iD permits the windows to be spread across several screens. If required, individual windows of SIX iD can be permanently displayed over other applications. This means that users never lose sight of the most important financial information. Users can also create tables and charts in line with their individual needs and pin them to any desired location on their screens. In addition, the product offers a refined search and filter function.

"SIX iD’s enhanced user experience and navigation allows professionals in the financial services industry to access 18 million instruments with ease and simplicity, hence keeping full focus on market evolution," comments Robert Jeanbart, Division CEO SIX Financial Information.

SIX iD is available worldwide and is being launched on the 85th anniversary of SIX Financial Information. The product is being offered in the Java Applet and Java Application versions. For more information visit: www.six-id.com.
