The Swiss startup kasko2go has entered into a partnership with the Ukrainian OKKO GROUP, thereby reaching 4.5 million drivers. kasko2go's disruptive approach caused a sensation in the Swiss insurance market in spring: With the help of artificial intelligence and telematics data, the startup ensures more justice, lowers excessive premiums and at the same time promotes a safe driving culture in society.
Through the cooperation with the OKKO GROUP, which is strongly anchored and well-known in Ukraine, kasko2go strengthens its presence abroad. Recently, 4.5 million motorists in Ukraine will be able to benefit from the start-up offer and reduce their premiums by up to 50% through the insurance company "Universalna", a part of the OKKO GROUP. Universalna itself is among the top ten Ukrainian insurance providers. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Dragon Capital, Horizon Capital, Renaissance Capital and others number among shareholders and institutional investors in the Holding’s companies.
Genadi Man, CEO of kasko2go, is pleased about the upcoming cooperation: "The cooperation with OKKO GROUP is a perfect opportunity to grow in an exciting market and to give car drivers access to a fair tariff structure". kasko2go developed a car insurance app, which carries out a risk assessment of their own driving behaviour with the help of artificial intelligence and mobile telematics technology and thus calculates an individual insurance premium. The disruptive model rewards occasional drivers and customers who drive safely and considerately on the roads with attractive premiums.
