Vivid is taking a major step in the European SME space, expanding its financial platform for SMEs and entrepreneurs into France, Italy, Spain, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. With 30,000 SMEs onboarded in under a year – making it one of Europe’s fastest-growing SME financial platforms  – Vivid is building on its retail finance expertise to offer a seamless, borderless financial experience tailored to business owners.

To drive this expansion, Vivid has assembled a team of top fintech executives from leading neobanks and financial platforms, ensuring deep market knowledge and execution power in each new country.

Fintech Leaders Powering Vivid’s European Expansion

As Vivid scales with its business offering across Europe, the company has recruited proven industry leaders to spearhead its growth:

  • Stef van Beek (ex-Revolut) – CEO, Vivid’s E-money institution licensed in Luxembourg by the CSSF, strengthening Vivid’s cross-border financial infrastructure.
  • Carole Danancher (ex-Bunq, ex-founder of KannelleApp) – Country Manager France, bringing expertise in fintech expansion and business strategy.
  • Armando Platero (ex-Flatex-Degiro) – Country Manager Spain, with a strong background in SME finance and digital banking.
  • Gianluigi Girardi (ex-Qonto) – Country Manager Italy, leveraging extensive experience in the local business finance market.

“With these experts on board, we are moving fast – setting up local teams, launching in five new markets, and rolling out new financial solutions that will empower SMEs across Europe,” said Alexander Emeshev, Co-Founder of Vivid.

Spain, Luxembourg, Italy, and the Netherlands will roll out first, with France following shortly after.

Rapid Growth & Market Demand

Vivid’s SME financial platform has seen strong adoption since launch:

  • In less than a year since going live, Vivid has onboarded 30,000 businesses.
  • The majority of customers are in Germany, with rapid expansion underway in new markets.
  • By the end of Q2 2025, Vivid aims to reach 50,000 SME customers.

“The rapid growth of our SME offering is a clear sign that disruption in this market is still in its early stages. Scaling to 30,000 SMEs in under a year makes us one of Europe’s fastest-growing SME financial platforms. Businesses across Europe need smarter, more flexible financial solutions, and we aim to drive this transformation – not just in Germany, but across the continent,” said Alexander Emeshev, Co-Founder of Vivid.
