Nubank Appoints Sarah Wilson as Chief Legal Officer

Nubank, the largest digital bank in Latin America, today announced the appointment of Sarah Wilson as Chief Legal Officer (CLO), effective September 28th. In her new role, Sarah will be responsible for leading Nubank's global legal organization, reporting directly to David Vélez, founder and CEO of Nubank.

Sarah is a legal executive with her experience spanning law, business, and governance. She joins Nubank from Circle Internet Group (NYSE: CRCL), where she has served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since January 2025, after serving as Deputy General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. At Circle, she led the legal function, advised management and the Board on corporate, product, regulatory, litigation, commercial, and governance matters. She also co-led the company’s IPO on the NYSE in June 2025, and oversaw its M&A and venture activities. Previously, Sarah served as Chief Legal Officer at Duly Health and Care and worked as a corporate attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell. Sarah holds a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law and a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Southern California.
