Italy’s Largest Pre-seed Round Ever: Jet HR is Born €4.7 Million Raised by Italy's Leading Innovators to Create a New HR Management Solution for a New Generation of Companies

Jet HR is the new - all-Italian - startup based on an idea by Marco Ogliengo, former founder of a successful tech company he exited in 2021, and Francesco Scalambrino, a top manager who was responsible for the software in 'unicorn' companies. Both, in their careers, have experienced the difficulties of bureaucratic personnel management and, knowing the potential of technology, decided to solve the problem.

The first people to believe in them are many of the most successful entrepreneurs and innovators in Italy who, having shared the frustration of dealing with incomprehensible languages and time-consuming activities related to personnel management, immediately recognized the project's potential.

Jet HR has closed a €4.7 million pre-seed round, the largest ever raised in the Italian market. Exor Ventures and Italian Founders Fund lead the investment round, as well as renowned personalities such as Luca Ascani (founder of Lambda Alpha), Dario Brignone and Alberto Dalmasso (co-founders of Satispay), Max Ciociola (founder of Musixmatch), Luca Ferrari (founder of Bending Spoons), Luca Foresti (CEO at Santagostino), Diego Piacentini (founder of View Different) , Matteo Pichi (founder of Poke House), Giorgio Tinacci (founder of Casavo), as well as other angel investors who have held key roles in international technology companies, such as David Clarke (former CTO at Workday) and Joe Zadeh (former VP Product at Airbnb).

This prestigious list includes several other key players in the Italian innovation ecosystem such as: 2100 Ventures, B Heroes, Club degli Investitori, Ithaca Investments, Proximity Capital, PranaVentures, Plug & Play Tech Center, FG2 Capital, LVenture Group.

Such a considerable interest stems from a very clear vision: eliminate ALL bureaucracy and needless complexity and create an employee management technological platform. Jet HR unifies administration (e.g. creating payslips, recording attendance, etc) and IT (e.g. order computers, assigning them, etc), employees and freelancers and, last but not least, makes seemingly obscure labor law concepts simple and clear. Jet HR enables entrepreneurs and managers to manage all administrative activities - paying salaries, hiring employees and independent contractors - while keeping a clear picture of their workforce. It solves, simplifies and automates bureaucracy for SMEs, for startups and larger companies (from 1 to hundreds of employees), who are looking at all possible opportunities to create efficiency and better manage their growth.

HOW IT WORKS

Through a single proprietary platform, Jet HR automates payroll (processing, issuing and archiving payroll), and accompanies employers and managers through all stages of their employees' working lives. The easy-to-understand and simple-to-navigate interface makes it possible to access detailed employee information, obtain labor cost simulations, send contracts and formalize hirings independently.

Jet HR goes much further and becomes the one stop shop for all administrative work, by integrating, for example, the rental and delivery of PCs for employees, the booking of medical examinations, the participation in safety courses and other compulsory tasks.
