IT Security Leader Utimaco Closes Investment Round Led by SGT Capital

Utimaco, a leading global provider of IT security solutions, has successfully closed the investment round with its new owner SGT Capital. In a deal first announced in August 2021, SGT Capital’s ownership of Utimaco has since received all necessary regulatory approvals, including clearance from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), the United Kingdom’s Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, and Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection.

Incognia Raises $15.5M in Series A

Mobile identity pioneer Incognia today announced it raised $15.5M in Series A funding led by Point72 Ventures. Within 18 months of launching in the U.S. Incognia is now protecting more than 200 million mobile users in more than 20 countries, and the new funding round will support Incognia’s continued growth. Incognia addresses the balancing act between friction and security for user authentication and fraud prevention on mobile applications, across industries including fintech, crypto, gaming, delivery and social.

Managed App Raises $5.3M for Automated Rental Payment System

Managed App, an end-to-end payment gateway and management platform for the property management industry, has raised $5.3 million and appointed co-founder Nick Bouris as CEO. The round was led by REA Group and Momentum Markets. The funds will be used to grow Managed App’s sales, marketing and development team, as it looks to double its user base over the next 12 months.

Digital Asset Management Platform Liminal Rises $4.7 Million Funding Led by Elevation Capital

Liminal, a wallet operations infrastructure that secures digital assets in a simple and efficient way, has raised$4.7 million in its seed funding round led by Elevation Capital. The round also saw participation from prominent investors like LD Capital, Woodstock, Nexus Ventures, and crypto ventures like CoinDCX, Hashed, Cadenza Ventures, Vauld, Better Capital, and Sparrow Capital. There are also marquee angel investors like Andreas Antonopoulos, Balaji Srinivasan, Sandeep Nailwal, Jaynti Kanani, Ajeet Khurana, amongst others.

Coralogix Closes $142M Series D Funding

Coralogix, a company using streaming analytics to rebuild the path to observability, announced it has raised a $142 million Series D funding round, bringing the company’s total amount raised to $238 million. A significant portion of the proceeds from the round will be used for the company’s expansion plans, especially it's India and APAC go-to-market teams. Additionally, the funds will also be used to accelerate the build-out and go-to-market of Snowbit, its recently announced cybersecurity venture being constructed out of India and Israel.

Fabric Ventures Closes $140M Venture Fund, and Announces First Close of Growth Fund

Fabric Ventures, the Web3 venture contributor, has announced the final close of a $140m Venture Fund — twice the original target and more than $30m above the original hard cap. They are simultaneously announcing their first close of a new Growth Fund, targeting a final fund size of an additional $100 million. Fabric Growth provides capital to support innovative web3 founders in their expansion and scaling, doubling down on initial venture investments.

Florence Raises $35 Million (£28.5m) to Revolutionise Social Care Staffing

Florence, the UK-based tech innovator for social care, announced it has raised $35 million (£28.5m) through a Series B funding round. Florence will use the investment for product expansion to support care in the UK and multiple international markets and to expand its services beyond elderly care. The Series B round was led by Axa Venture Partners with participation from Roo Capital and existing backers SEEK Investments.

Other major private equity funds, family offices, and corporations also subscribed to the fund as limited partners. The new fund will invest in projects that can extend the use cases of cryptocurrencies and drive the adoption of Web3 and blockchain technologies.
