Gresham Computing plc, a leading provider of real-time financial transaction control and enterprise data integrity solutions, today announced a strategic partnership with Gartland & Mellina Group (GMG), a specialist financial services management consulting firm headquartered in New York City. GMG consultants will work alongside Gresham’s professional services team in deploying Gresham’s Clareti Transaction Control (CTC) solution – helping to ensure that customers derive maximum benefit from the full potential CTC can offer in improving operational, regulatory, internal risk management and reconciliation processes.

GMG has extensive experience working with tier one banks and financial institutions across capital markets, as well as with wealth and investment managers and alternative investment firms, focusing on issues including regulatory compliance, middle and back office operations and platform development and implementation.

“In an ever-changing legislative landscape firms need flexible technology that can accommodate new regulations and maximise control and data integrity,” explained Albert Mellina, CEO, GMG. “Based on our experience advising clients on optimising business processes to meet regulatory challenges, we recognise the value that Gresham’s CTC solution can bring since its agile infrastructure was designed specifically to embrace change. For an organisation to benefit from the full potential offered by CTC, they need to think beyond just how to update their existing control processes to how they can transform their operations. Together, we can help organisations establish a baseline of where they are now and roadmap how to get to their desired goal in the most efficient way possible.”

The complementary skillsets of each company will yield significant benefits to their respective client base, with GMG introducing CTC to its clients and Gresham highlighting opportunities to provide management consultancy to its clients, as the respective needs arise.

“This strategic partnership with GMG will help us further expand our reach in North America, with GMG giving us access to a group of highly skilled professional services consultants that augment and complement our existing capabilities,” said Damian Canning, Sales Director, Gresham Computing, North America.  "Gresham's US business has grown significantly over the last 12 months as organizations take advantage of the disruptive nature of the CTC platform. The GMG partnership will enable more US firms to drive technology-enabled change in the way they manage their internal risk and prove end-to-end control in their businesses.”
