Gresham, the leading software and services company that specialises in providing real-time transaction control and enterprise data integrity software, has been named by Chartis’ leading team of analysts and experts as the winner of the RiskTech 100® category for Data Integrity and Control.

The newly created category highlights the importance of high-quality data, against a backdrop of reduced profit margins, regulatory pressure and the explosion of increasingly complex, real-time data.

This is the second year in a row in which Gresham has been recognised in the top 50 of the RiskTech100®, rising 5 places to 38. The report evaluates Gresham’s solution against two key dimensions – completeness of offering and market potential. This includes the additional criterion of ‘support for varied data types’, with an ability to handle both structured and unstructured data. Unlike legacy reconciliation software that is inherently rigid and unwieldy, Gresham operates a no schema approach, with a sophisticated matching algorithm that is able to take multiple data feeds and match in multiple ways.

The award comes off the back of being classed a category leader in the recent Chartis FinTech Quadrant™ for Data Integrity and Control solutions in Financial Services.

Peyman Mestchian, Managing Partner, Chartis Research comments“Gresham has led the way in Enterprise Date Integrity and Control over the last year with the Clareti platform  scoring particularly well for governance, automation and audit in the RiskTech100.  Gresham are well placed as award winner of the inaugural data integrity category with high customer satisfaction, a strong growth strategy, and high enterprise readiness”.

Ian Manocha, CEO, Gresham says, “We’ve witnessed a ‘perfect storm’ of factors in the last few years, including stringent regulatory reporting requirements and senior accountability regimes. This has pushed the need for data integrity to the top of the agenda, and we’re extremely pleased to receive this recognition from Chartis. In a world awash with real-time streaming data, business leaders need absolute confidence in their data and certainty in their transaction processing. Our solution responds to these requirements with an agility, transparency and flexibility that is appropriate for today’s demands.”
