Capco, the global business and technology consultancy dedicated solely to the financial services industry, is proud to announce that it has been named to Fortune’s list of 25 Best Medium Workplaces in the United States. This is Capco’s first time on the list, where it ranked No. 19.

Ninety-five percent or more of employees who took part in the survey on which the ranking is based said Capco offers them “great challenges,” presents a “great atmosphere” and they have “great pride” in working there. In addition, more than 90% of respondents called their rewards, their bosses and company communication “great.”

“We pride ourselves on a culture that allows people to be themselves at work, while encouraging the best from them and then broadening and deepening their skills so they continually grow,” said Lance Levy, Capco CEO. “Criteria for selection to the Best Workplaces list is based almost entirely on employee responses to an anonymous survey, so this recognition is positive proof of our unique culture and the emphasis we place on engagement and career opportunities. We couldn’t be prouder.”

Businesses are selected for the list based on employee responses to a 58-statement survey that measures an employee’s trust in his or her company. According to Great Place to Work®, the company that administers the survey and oversees the results and rankings, companies on the Best Small and Medium Workplaces lists treat people more fairly and make it easier for employees to integrate their work and home lives. In addition, top workplaces are growing faster than U.S. companies overall.

The Best Workplaces to Work list is compiled by Great Place to Work, the global authority on high-trust, high-performance workplace cultures. Through proprietary assessment tools, advisory services and employer branding programs, including Best Companies lists and workplace reviews, Great Place to Work provides the benchmarks, framework and expertise needed to create, sustain and recognize outstanding workplace cultures.
