SberBox Top, a smart TV media center, and SmartBadge, a solution analyzing employee-customer communications, have been honored by CES Innovation Awards, which was held ahead of Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the most influential technology event in the world scheduled to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, on January 5-8, 2022.

Owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), CES Innovation Awards is held annually to recognize outstanding designs and developments. Pitches across 27 product categories are considered by judges who are highly respected experts in their fields. The solutions they name best in terms of innovation, functionality and design receive the Best Innovation awards. This year’s contest welcomed over 1,800 entries, which is unprecedented.

SberBox Top, a TV media center fitted with a smart camera and the Salute family of virtual assistants, became an honoree in the Home Audio & Video Components & Accessories category. The device changes our outlook on TV sets and their functionality. Due to the smart camera and a matrix of six microphones, SberBox Top enables users to make video calls on a big screen while moving in a room freely, manage a smart home, play AR games and even do sports with a motion tracker to improve their routine.

SmartBadge is a software and hardware suite for analyzing employee-customer communications, which is seamlessly integrated with the Speech Technology Center’s speech analytics framework. An honoree in the CES 2022 Wearable Technologies category, SmartBadge is the first-of-a-kind device in Russia capable of recording a dialogue with two audio tracks — one of an employee and the other one of a client — for them to be analyzed separately. This improves the quality of service, enables stakeholders to train employees, resolve disputes, analyze customer requests, boost sales, customer loyalty, and marketing efficiency.
