Juni, a fast-growing Swedish financial platform on a mission to build the global business bank of the future, has further strengthened its partnership with Salt Edge, a leading open banking solutions provider, to deliver open banking capabilities.

Juni offers businesses and finance teams modern banking solutions, spend management, financing and accounting—all on one platform and app. With low FX fees and flexible financing, Juni is dedicated to simplifying global business operations, enabling them to scale effortlessly.

Since 2020, Juni has partnered with Salt Edge through its Partner Program for Account Information Services (AIS), allowing the company to seamlessly access data from over 2,500 banks across the EU without technical strain. Building on this successful collaboration, the two companies took their partnership to the next level.

As a financial company operating in a highly regulated industry, compliance is a top priority for Juni. To enable open banking capabilities in line with PSD2 requirements, Juni has entrusted Salt Edge with developing both the connector and exemption services. Juni now relies on Salt Edge not only for data access but also for deploying and managing its AIS/PIS infrastructure, relieving the Juni team of the burden of building and maintaining these capabilities in-house.  By delegating the technical and compliance aspects of open banking to Salt Edge, Juni can focus on its core mission–delivering exceptional financial tools, all while ensuring full PSD2 compliance.

By leveraging open banking capabilities, we can provide our customers with a better and more integrated financial solution. Through our partnership with Salt Edge, we can now also offer access to AIS and PIS capabilities to the larger financial ecosystem. In turn, they can embed Juni into their solution, which leads to an enhanced banking experience for our customers.
