Expert System announces that it has been working with Swiss Re leveraging the advanced features of Cogito®, a strategic NLU (Natural Language Understanding) technology. With Expert System's AI-driven approach, which focuses on deep knowledge understanding and data accuracy, Swiss Re will empower its digital and analytics strategy throughout the entire value chain. With an AI-driven approach that targets deep knowledge understanding and data accuracy, Swiss Re has been achieving greater efficiency by automating tasks such as assessing risk reports or evaluating claims evaluation.

“Cogito allows us to reduce the time to production. Thanks to its out-of-the-box capability to understand natural language based on a unique knowledge graph, we have easily internalized and integrated natural language understanding into our ecosystem,” said Micheal Foehner, Head Digital and Smart Analytics at Swiss Re.

Expert System’s Cogito technology applies human-like comprehension to make information access easier as well as faster and more accurate. By allowing insurers and reinsurers to automatically read and precisely process vast quantities of data in a fraction of the time it would otherwise take, the product increases efficiency in strategic activities, such as claims processing and underwriting.

“We are proud to work with Swiss Re and we look forward to continue successfully delivering productive and adopted solutions together. Cogito market-proven offering helps Insurers and Reinsurers advance their business strategies, by leveraging our unique and extensive experience in the industry” said Marco Varone, President of Expert System.
