undisclosed , Ashok joined Barclays in 2010, managing the credit card business across the UK, Europe and the Nordics, becoming chairman of Entercard. He went on to manage Barclays in Africa and his most recent role was CEO for UK Retail and Business Banking.

It’s always great to see internet use across the UK continue to rise. But along with increased access and confidence with digital and with online fraud now the most common crime in the country, we need to make sure everyone has the digital safety knowhow to protect themselves against cyber threats. 

That’s why we’ve launched a new national campaign on digital safety, and we will do everything in our power to arm people with the tools and information they need. A few practical steps and a dose of vigilance can boost your safety immeasurably. We need to all work together to beat the bad guys.
