Speakerbus, the specialist provider of critical voice solutions for financial, emergency and command sectors, has signed an agreement with Westcon-Comstor, the value-added technology distributor of category-leading solutions in security, collaboration, networking and data center, to distribute Speakerbus’ offerings in the North American region. This new contract expands on the recent Westcon-Comstor EMEA partnership announced in March.

Speakerbus’ advanced telephony, hoot ‘n’ holler and private line access solutions enable technology resellers to capitalize on business opportunities through real-time information-sharing with their colleagues. Command sector organizations can use Speakerbus solutions to instantly share information with multiple parties across land, sea and air, for fast and effective emergency response.

Through this partnership the Speakerbus portfolio of voice collaboration solutions can be ordered directly from Westcon-Comstor and its ‘channel’ partners as part of a complete telephony solution, making procurement faster and simpler. Financial institutions and command sector organizations such as first responders, government agencies, military and transportation, benefit from multi-party voice collaboration capabilities, while also reducing costs and improving operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

“We are delighted to have signed the U.S. distribution agreement with Westcon-Comstor. Expanding our successful EMEA partnership is an integral part of our ‘high-touch, channel-centric’ strategy. Westcon-Comstor’s global reach and extensive experience, both in financial markets and in C2, will allow us to accelerate our growth,” said James Loeber, vice president, Global Channel Partnerships at Speakerbus. He added, “As we grow and create opportunities in new markets, Westcon’s physical and digital distribution network, will help us to deliver our globally-proven hardware- and software-based voice collaboration solutions.”

“As a preferred telecommunications provider to leading global emergency-services organizations, defense installations and banking institutions, it’s clear that the Speakerbus product portfolio is highly reliable even under the most critical communications conditions,” said Barat Dickman, vice president and general manager of the Westcon-Comstor Unified Communications and Collaboration Solutions Practice. “This reputation will help our customers open doors within these key vertical markets and, with the backing of Westcon-Comstor’s UCC Solutions Practice education and training services, confidently support this market.
