FAB and Visa Collaborate to Enhance Cross-Border Payments with Visa B2B Connect

Visa, the global leader in digital payments, has announced a key partnership with First Abu Dhabi Bank, the largest bank in the UAE, to extend the Visa B2B Connect network in the region.

The collaboration is set to enhance corporate cross-border payments, allowing businesses in the UAE to perform secure and efficient global transactions.

The agreement was signed by Sanjay Sethi, Head of Global Transaction Banking at FAB, with Sara Al Binali, Group Head of Corporate and Commercial Banking at FAB, and Shahebaz Khan, Senior Vice President, Head of Commercial & Money Movement Solutions for Visa B2B Connect, CEMEA, in attendance. This partnership marks a strategic milestone for both companies, demonstrating their shared commitment to financial sector innovation and excellence.

Visa B2B Connect is a non-card-based multilateral platform aimed at providing secure, cost-effective, and predictable cross-border payments for financial institutions and their corporate clients. The platform enhances international transactions by minimizing intermediaries, boosting efficiency, and ensuring transparency.

By leveraging Visa’s advanced technology, FAB aims to improve its payment offerings and solidify its position as a leading transaction banking service provider in the region. FAB's extensive market reach and financial expertise, combined with the Visa B2B Connect network, will enable superior payment solutions for corporate clients throughout the region.
