Indonesia's Alami Group, a startup that offers Shariah-compliant peer-to-peer lending for small and medium-size enterprises. The firm, which counts online lender Alami and digibank Hijra Bank as subsidiaries, has secured an undisclosed amount of new funding in a round led by Intudo Ventures.

The fintech firm is returning to growth mode after laying off employees last month.

The company calls the fundraise as a “growth investment round.” It follows a pre-series B round led by East Ventures in 2022, a year after closing its US$37.5M series A fundraise.

Alami Group CEO Dima Djani said: " In addition to scaling and expanding, the firm will use the funds to launch new offerings such as Hijra Home Financing, a mortgage product."
