XBTO, a comprehensive platform for digital assets and tailored crypto investment solutions, has today announced Javier Rodriguez-Alarcon as a strategic appointment to its C-Suite team. 

In his new role as Chief Commercial Officer, Javier, a former Managing Director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, will spearhead all of XBTO’s commercial aspects and business strategy, including the development of its products, solutions and investments management strategies within the digital assets space.

Javier's appointment to Chief Commercial Officer at XBTO signifies a pivotal moment for the company. With his extensive investment background at Goldman Sachs, Javier embodies the fusion of business expertise from both digital assets and traditional finance, and exemplifies XBTO’s dedication to delivering exceptional results and solutions by bridging the gap between these two financial realms.

During his time at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Javier served as the Global Head of Client Portfolio Management where he led the Client Portfolio Management team, as well as the Quantitative Investment Group for EMEA. Javier focused primarily on investor engagement, content creation, product development, strategy and communications for the Fundamental and Quantitative Investment platform. Javier’s expertise spans multiple asset classes, catering to institutional, private wealth management and third-party channels worldwide.
