EFA is pleased to announce that Pia Kumlin has joined EFA’s Nordic office, based in Stockholm, as Country Head.

Starting on the 1st of February 2023, she will lead the existing team with the objective of  strengthening client relationships and further develop not only Sweden but the entire Nordic market.

Pia brings over 15 years of strong and recognised experience in the fund industry. Prior to joining EFA, Pia was most recently Chief Product Owner at Swedbank. Her previous responsibilities include heading the transfer agency operations and business support functions of Swedbank.

This is the latest in a series of hires at EFA Sweden in different areas such as AML/KYC and  Client Relationship Management.

After having serviced Nordic Asset Managers for over 15 years out of Luxembourg, the opening of EFA’s Nordic office and the recent hires emphasise its continued commitment to the region and are natural next steps in the journey to becoming the leading investor services platform in the Nordics.

Pia Kumlin, Country Head at EFA Sweden, says: “I am very happy to join EFA to both develop our existing good relationships and build new ones in Sweden as well as in the Nordics. I look forward to bringing my experience from the banking and fund industry and taking the business  to the next level together with our new team.”

Paulo Fernandes, Chief Commercial Officer at EFA, says: “The Nordic region is a strategic market for EFA, where we have built a strong reputation through consistently meeting the demands of a sophisticated clientele. After the opening of our Nordic office last year along  with our first series of hires, Pia joining and bringing us her experience is yet another step that  underlines our commitment to our clients and partners in the region.”
