Synechron, a global financial and technology consultancy, has been shortlisted across three areas for its innovative accomplishments this year, including Best Use of Mobile, Blockchain Project of the Year and Incubator or Investment Initiative of the Year at the 2018 FSTech awards held on 22^nd March 2018. Synechron’s nominations highlight the increasing importance on innovation for consumer-led, as well as business focused, financial technology and its role in leading these initiatives across various areas in financial services.

Synechron’s nomination for The Best Use of Mobile award for its work leading the digital strategy and development of the a major financial institution’s mobile auto insurance application. This innovation allows consumers to access insurance information, car valuation and more on a single mobile platform.

Synechron’s work with 15 global banks to create the largest Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) Consortium Projects of 2017 led to the nomination for Blockchain Project of the Year. In partnership with R3, this collaboration, known as LEIA 2, aims to solve the challenges of KYC data collection, validation and privacy while improving the overall customer experience in corporate banking.

The nomination for Incubator or Investment Initiative of the Year focused on Synechron’s extensive InsurTech Accelerator program, which delivered a suite of applications that has enabled businesses to reduce costs, improve client experiences and revolutionize their operations.

Now in its 18^th year, the FStech Awards, hosted by FStech Magazine, is the showcase for excellence and innovation within the UK and EMEA financial services sector. The event was another huge success that has continued to build upon the achievements from previous years.
