Etsy Chooses Adyen for Global Payments

Adyen, the payments company powering global commerce for Uber, Facebook and Netflix amongst others, today announced a global partnership with online marketplace Etsy. The technology partnership covers the United States, Europe and other key markets where Etsy operates marketplaces and provides services to its 1.7 million* sellers. Etsy has chosen Adyen to enhance the payments experience for its millions of buyers and sellers around the world.

By integrating with Adyen, Etsy is adding redundancy and resiliency to its payments platform, with a focus on providing a seamless customer experience. With Adyen, Etsy buyers globally can continue to pay using their preferred local currencies and payment methods.
