Truphone Adds Five New Emerging Market Business Hubs To Truphone World

Truphone, the mobile network operator without country borders, today announced the addition of five new emerging market business hubs, Israel, Malaysia, South Africa, South Korea and Taiwan to its Truphone World business package.

With the addition of the five countries, customers of Truphone World can take advantage of Truphone’s global network of 66 countries, made up of the biggest emerging markets, technology and business hubs.

Truphone’s unique 66 country package enables its customers to experience high speed data and high quality calling in the same way they would on a traditional domestic mobile network.

After completing a 12 months review of travel patterns, Truphone has taken the decision to add the countries to its footprint to make the Truphone world proposition even more relevant to its customers. These countries are considered some of the most promising emerging markets by Bloomberg Markets.

Steve Robertson, Chief Executive Officer of Truphone said: “We are delighted to provide our Truphone World customers with mobile access in these emerging business and technology hubs, which will enable us to further increase the footprint of our service. Thanks to the disruptive technology provided by Truphone, traffic on our network is growing between 15% and 20% each month. With a quarter of all voice and a third of all data usage being conducted outside our customers’ home country, Truphone is the established provider of hiqh-quality and low-cost international mobile packages to leading international businesses.”

With international mobile data usage increasing rapidly, Truphone World was launched in May 2014 to provide international businesses with high quality and low-cost mobile access across the world. Truphone World provides its customers with one 66-country bundle, one SIM, one plan and one voicemail, enabling seamless productivity gains and cost reductions across a business’s footprint. In addition, Truphone World customers have coverage in over 200 countries.
