Taiwan Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Sign Memorandum of Understanding

The Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation and Nasdaq Inc. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote mutual development and foster cooperation between the two companies. The memorandum also paves the way for both sides to work closely together in expanding their ETF markets, facilitating the cross-listing of ETFs on both the TWSE and Nasdaq markets.

Spanish Stock Exchange Volumes Up by 9.5%

The trading volume in August in the Spanish Stock Market came in at €33.6 billion, up 9.5% from a year earlier. The trading volume for the first eight months of the year totalled €450.7 billion, down 4.2% from the same period in 2016. The number of equity trades on the Spanish Stock Market markets in August reached 3.3 million, up 6.4% year-on-year. The number of equity trades to the end of August totalled €34.8 million, 7.7% down year-on-year.
