Direct hosted telephony vendor Teliqo has announced that its open source telephony platform now integrates directly with Salesforce, the world's leading cloud CRM solution.
Combining Teliqo Direct and Salesforce helps place telephony right at the heart of a company’s Salesforce-enabled sales, marketing and support operations for higher productivity. Now, with simple one-click dialling, users can place and receive calls without ever having to leave their Salesforce application, saving time and increasing efficiency.

“There’s always been a disconnect between the power of Salesforce and the traditional telephony platforms where most of the actual customer contact takes place. Teliqo removes this problem by integrating seamlessly with Salesforce to unlock real productivity benefits for customers,” commented Teliqo’s Chief Executive Officer, Simon Hochhauser.

“Using the Teliqo service, businesses can now handle calls from within Salesforce, keeping accurate records of all their contacts and gaining greater control of customer journeys,” he added. “Because our direct hosted telephony platform is particularly easy to set up and configure, Salesforce users can start unlocking telephony cost savings from day one, achieving significant productivity improvements through more efficient contact and reporting.”

Organisations will also benefit from Teliqo’s greater control of advanced UC features such as click-to-dial, instant messaging, voicemail management, presence, on-screen notifications and call recording, while rapid deployment ensures that Salesforce-enabled telephony can be up and running within just weeks. Teliqo’s direct approach also means that customers always benefit from engaging with the in-house team that developed the original hosted telephony solution – ensuring they get a CRM/telephony solution that’s configured precisely to support the way their business needs to work – with no resellers getting in the way.”

Because the Teliqo Direct service is built on an in-house developed platform based on open source technology, the solutions is especially applicable for tight integration with cloud-based Salesforce solutions.

Working directly with the Teliqo team also ensures that organisations using Salesforce can gain full advantage of the flexibility of hosted telephony, while removing all the additional costs and inconvenience associated with resellers offering indirect hosted telephony service.
