Sokin, the new generation payments firm, is set to use Darktrace to provide holistic cybersecurity across all its back-office functions.  Sokin will be adopting Darktrace’s Enterprise Immune System for 300 users, which includes full support and back-up services.

Vroon Modgill, CEO, Sokin, said: “Cybersecurity is non-negotiable in our industry.  We have to be best in class, which is why we are developing our relationship with Darktrace who offer a unique and innovative approach.  As we scale our operations, we will need their AI based intuitive systems which can interrogate our digital traffic and quickly identify the abnormal.  Their combination of machine and human monitoring provides a complete robust solution.  This will give our clients the confidence they need to make important transactions through the Sokin platform and app.”

The Sokin service is based on a global currency account which in addition to providing secure, easy to use, low-cost payments, offers accessible neo-banking services.  Sokin’s low cost, fast payment systems will operate in many countries and will generate high volumes of international communications which will need to be checked and verified to ensure the platform will provide instant, secure client and partner interaction.

Andrew Tsonchev, Director of Technology at Darktrace, commented: “In an era of increasingly novel attacks that slip under the radar of signature-based security tools, autonomous Cyber AI is critical to move organizations beyond prevention, and towards the continual identification and neutralization of emerging threats.  We are delighted to announce our partnership with Sokin, empowering more organizations in the financial sector to thwart attacks in their earliest stages – before damage can be done.”
