Mi9 Retail Finalizes SaaS Offering of Its Business Intelligence and Merchandising Solutions

Mi9 Retail, a leader in enterprise retail merchandising, business intelligence and store operations software, today announced that it is further enhancing its solutions by offering its Mi9 Merchant and Mi9 BI products via a fast, reliable and secure Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform.  The new SaaS option will enable customers to reduce the implementation time and total cost of ownership typically associated with on-premises solutions.

Mi9 Merchant is a powerful merchandise management system, built on Mi9 Retail's award-winning retail analytics solution, Mi9 BI.  The streamlined system combines data management, business intelligence and financial controls to drive actionable analysis at every level of the enterprise. With one source of information to support buying, pricing, inventory management and inventory valuation, the solution creates a fully aligned experience across all retail channels to satisfy customer demand.  Ready to use out of the box, Mi9 Merchant and Mi9 BI are highly configurable and enable an efficient upgrade path, simplify product support and now provide the option of deploying as a service.

The SaaS offering of Mi9 BI and Mi9 Merchant enables retailers to upgrade their aging retail systems to Mi9 Retail's best-in-class solutions without needing to obtain approval for capital expenditures.  Retailers now have the ability to fund upgrades to the Mi9 Retail platform using existing operating budgets, which are now used to maintain aging systems that often do not provide the robust functionality required by a retailer's merchants and customers.
