Sageworks, a Raleigh, N.C., headquartered firm that offers lending, credit risk and portfolio risk solutions to U.S. banks and credit unions launched an integration with the Salesforce.com, inc.™ customer relationship management (CRM) platform.

Institutions may be using this CRM for sales, service and marketing operations, and with the new integration with Sageworks, institutions can simplify information sharing between lending, credit and portfolio risk teams.

Users of the integration will now be able to:

  • Save time with data entry, while accessing information in a single view
  • Push loan prospects to underwriting within Sageworks
  • Integrate Sageworks data into Salesforce.com to give lenders information for better customer service
  • Give lenders and analysts dedicated, but connected views of customer and loan data
  • Send referrals across departments, including financial and loan data from Sageworks

This integration is, in part, made possible by Sageworks’ new API Network, which the company introduced in 2017. The API Network and now Salesforce CRM integration are means through which credit and lending departments at financial institutions can work together.

Information from Sageworks may include but is not limited to data on prospective and current borrowers, loan and deposit balances, payment history, etc.

“We typically see banks have to jump between programs for spreading, doc prep, the core, etc., and all that duplicative data entry is a drain on resources and responsiveness to borrowers,” explained Sageworks CEO Scott Ogle. “This integration, like the API Network, will cut down on that data entry and give banks the customization to bridge Sageworks with their CRM.”
