Platform Technology

Ingenico Group, seamless payment, has successfully deployed over 30,000 Move/5000 payment terminals from its new Telium Tetra range with National Australia Bank (NAB), one of Australia’s largest financial institutions.

Based on the Telium Tetra platform, the Move/5000 smart terminal supports all Australian payment methods including mobile wallets and a full range of new features and connectivity options (including 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth). It is PCI-PTS v.4 certified, meeting the highest security standards. It also supports NFC while meeting the most demanding use-cases.

Designed for both indoor and mobility use-cases, the compact-sized Move/5000 fits all merchant environments and can be used at the counter, on the go, or integrated into a checkout solution.

We are pleased to provide the new Telium Tetra Move series payment terminals to continue to support the needs of our merchant customers,’ Simone Van Veen, NAB’s General Manager of Acquiring, HICAPS and Commercial Cards, said.

NAB selected the 3G wireless Move/5000 for the replacement of its 2G terminal fleet across Australia, and is now offering the terminals with the latest standards and state-of-the-art payment features to all its merchant customers.

The trust NAB placed in us for the introduction of the Move/5000 to their customers illustrates our ability to provide future-proof products and services suited to fast-changing payment regulation landscapes,’ said John Tait, SVP Asia-Pacific, Ingenico Group. ‘The Telium Tetra platform will enable merchants to access an open portfolio of applications, and therefore meet their innovative value-added requirements.’
