Philipp Wendenburg has joined SAP Fioneer, a leading provider of financial services software solutions and platforms, as Global Head of ESG Solutions.

Philipp worked for PwC for over 14 years prior to his move and was most recently responsible for transformation projects in the CFO area of international institutions as a Director in financial services. His focus, in addition to financial and non-financial reporting, was the operational management of the ESG/Sustainable Finance practice at PwC.

He takes on a newly created role within SAP Fioneer, based in Munich, as Global Head of ESG Solutions, and will report to Frank Hammann, Global Head of Finance and Risk Solutions. With this strategic hire, SAP Fioneer aims to highlight the importance of ESG and how it affects organisational growth alongside customer and market needs.
