René Lange will start as Vice President of Business Development at the direct bank SWK Bank, Bingen is Rhein, on July 1. In this newly created role, Lange will be responsible for developing and expanding sales of SWK Bank's Banking as a Service offering. Lange comes from Berlin-based Hypoport SE, a network of technology companies for the credit, real estate and insurance industries. There, as venture lead, he developed new business areas for the instalment loan business such as the payment solution "DeineRate".

Lange has extensive experience in business development in start-up and corporate environments. For example, he supported Circula, Berlin, an expense platform for managing travel and employee expenses, in setting up its marketing and sales processes. Before that, he worked as Head of Growth Operations at the business travel specialist Comtravo, Berlin, and as Team Lead Business Development at the hotel booking platform Conichi, Berlin. Lange learned his trade at the banking consultancy Zeb, Münster, and Commerzbank, Frankfurt am Main. After completing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at the University of Bayreuth, Lange earned a Master's degree in Strategy & International Business from Aston Business School in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
