Marketplace payment engine Paycast, the second venture of UK based fintech group SPG, has announced the appointment of Christian Elson as its Head of Partnerships.

In his new role, Christian will be responsible for Paycast’s partnerships strategy, and building and maintaining the integral relationships with key global players within the wider payments infrastructure that are essential to the company’s exciting growth plans for 2022.

The addition of Christian to the Paycast leadership team continues the momentum generated by the recent appointment of Claire Van der Zant as Managing Director and Katrina Gordon as Head of Customer Success. These appointments position the business to best provide seamless, secure payments for customers and to reach new markets in its mission to create a new era of trust with online transactions.

With over 15 years’ experience within financial services, Christian joins Paycast from top finance firm Premium Credit, where he previously held the position of National Sales Director. Prior to this, Christian held similar roles with Santander, overseeing the management of 27 partner agencies.
